Ho-Ho-Kus Golf Course
In this photo you see the corner of a street. The lawn that you see is said to be the miniature golf course that once existed in the area that is present-day downtown Ho-Ho-Kus. The Miniature Golf Course operated between 1890 and 1901. The nearby Mansion House was the meeting place for the Ho-Ho-Kus Golf Club for a few years because it was located next to the green. In 1901 the Ho-Ho-Kus Golf Club joined with the Ridgewood Golf Club and relocated their meeting site to the Ridgewood when the Ridgewood Golf Club course, now the Ridgewood County Club, was ready to play on.
