Dublin Core

Title

The Hungarian Reformed Church of Franklin, New Jersey - Before Move and Refurbishment

Description

This image depicts the Hungarian Reformed Church of Franklin in its original state before being moved and refurbished. The image shows the amount of physical degradation before it was handed over to the Franklin Heritage Society. The image was featured in the New Jersey Herald, "The Old Edison School House/Hungarian Church, above left, stands almost hidden behind a home on Evans Street in Franklin. Two historical groups hope to move and restore the building, possibly to the site of the old community center on Main Street. At right is the bell that hung in the Hungarian Presbyterian Church; it is now in front of the Franklin Presbyterian Church."
