Capture Captured

Mahwah’s Ethnic Neighborhood is the product of Ramapo College’s Digital History course. This class teaches students the way technology has changed the way we interact with the past. The goal of this course is for students to become fluent in technologies and create a public history project made accessible on the internet.

About the Creator

My name is Dara McGuinness, I am a second-year History student at Ramapo College of New Jersey, and a member of its first Digital History class.

Me! Dara McGuinness

I work on campus as a research assistant for the Jane Addams Papers Project, I am Secretary of the Ramapo History Club, Secretary for Building Tomorrow and a reporter for The Ramapo News.

I currently volunteer at the Historic Village of Allaire and will be attending Archaeological field school this summer.

I will soon be adding an Art History and Anthropology minor and I  hope to pursue a career in public history and to continue to utilize the skills I have learned in Digital History.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at dmcguinn@ramapo.edu.
