Connor Walsh

I am Connor Walsh a student at Ramapo College of New Jersey and majoring in history with a minor in criminology. I am originally from Waldwick, New Jersey where I have grown up my whole life. I am the oldest between my brother and my sister. My brother is a junior studying electrical engineering at The College of New Jersey and my sister is a junior in high school. My parents have been happily married for over 25 years and have help me throughout my life.  I have a very supportive family that encourages me to do my best in all that I do.

Receiving a bachelor degree from Ramapo College is difficult and a history degree is even more difficult. I have taken many classes ranging from different points in history. One of my favorite classes that I have taken is United States History II. Here I learned about the Cold War and the Civil Rights movement. My minor in criminology is challenging as well. One of my favorite courses is law and society. In this class, we discuss different ways the law is interpreted in our society.

I am a student athlete at Ramapo College. I have been on the baseball team here since the fall of 2015. I have been fortunate to be a part of one of the best division three programs in the country making it to the College World Series in 2015 and winning the New Jersey Athletic Conference in 2016. In high school, I played both varsity baseball and basketball. I have been very fortunate to enjoy great success in my athletic career.

I am graduating from Ramapo College in May of 2018 and am looking for a career in law enforcement. I have participated in multiple internships and I am ready for whatever the future holds. I thank Ramapo College for everything they have done for me and how they supported me through my college journey.
