Evan Kolinsky

I am a history major at Ramapo College of New Jersey as I study their with the desire to become a secondary social studies teacher. At a young age, I maintained a fascination with the past as it began with my grandfather’s service during the Second World War, which I took on myself to learn about with the small amount stories provided by him. Furthermore, my father was a massive History Buff and took my younger brother and I to a variety of historical sites as I traveled to the fields of Gettysburg to the shores of Normandy, France. With some of experiences gained in and out of the classroom, I hope to provide all the readers a chance to have a great insight on the past in order to understand the present.
